El tenampa is a Mexican place with a very large menu. Lots of options; almost too many. The restaurant is not very large but feels homey. The service is good and the food is quick. The drinks are not free refills so be prepared. The prices are not expensive but you do get what you pay for. The queso whole good was a little greasy. I would highly recommend the taco plate. The tortillas are delicious and the meat is prepared well.

Food was amazing I was so hesitate because of negative reviews but man so glad I stayed amazing food wife loved her fish tacos and I loved the enchiladas ..give the mom and pop places a chance you won't be disappointed!!

Hands down one if the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in a long time, outstanding chips and salsa and the breakfast Rancheros Huevos were so good. The refried beans and potatoes were tasty and tender. Generous portions and reasonably priced food. I'll be back. Enjoy and Bon Appétit

Yes, it's true that their service isn't the best but that's not why you come here. Their food (that's why you travel out of the strip to eat here). I've been coming here for many years and if one thing is consistent is the flavor of the food. This place is for locals mostly but if you're craving carne asada and a michelada on a hot summer day; this is the place for you. & for the record they do have nice employees here you just have to realize sometimes they're understaffed. Their aguas frescas are really good too (ahem: horchata I'm looking at you)!
